TN021 is a very high bond foamed acrylic tape ideal for high load applications in critical areas

TN021 is a very high bond foamed acrylic tape ideal for high load applications in critical areas. It is made from a composition of viscoelastic acrylic copolymers and monomers with glass microsphere fillers which is then extruded and cured using UV light. There are no solvents used during the manufacturing process.

Commonly used in the bonding of Georgian bars and stiffener bars. Also ideal for use during the manufacture of signs, resin bonded laminated glass, door panels, commercial vehicles, architectural cladding panels and general metal fabrication.

The product is naturally tacky and is capable of forming permanent bonds with many non-porous materials. This reduces the reliance on mechanical fixings in extreme environmental conditions, therefore, speeding up manufacturing processes.

• Improves productiviy in manufacturing - in most cases, TN021 tapes are capable of replacing rivets, spot welds, liquid adhesives and other permanent fasteners 
• Non-mechanical bonding – can support reduction in gauge thickness
