Standard non-restricted friction hinge to suit | -- |
Cotswold’s restrictor stays employ a simple built in child resistant catch, which limits the opening. Opening the window fully is a quick and easy one-handed operation for an adult.
For top hung applications, a pair of restricted friction hinges (1x LH, 1x RH) are required
For side hung applications, one handed restricted friction hinge should be used on the bottom of the sash. The top of the sash should be fitted with a non-restricted standard friction stay.
Restricted friction hinge handing (Side Hung Only) - LH - clockwise opening (viewed from the inside) / RH - anti-clockwise opening (viewed from the inside)
Restricted hinges are sold in singles, left or right hand.
